Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of administrative duties to support assigned leader, including managing the calendar and scheduling appointments, meetings, and conferences while prioritizing conflicting demands.
- Serves as primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, relaying messages, and facilitating communication.
- Arranges travel itineraries, including booking flights, accommodations, transportation, and visas.
- Prepares various templated weekly/monthly/quarterly reports for assigned leader and performs basic research as requested.
- Drafts documents and presentations of documents and presentations on behalf of the leader.
- Interfaces with suppliers and vendors regarding requests for quotes, purchase orders and invoicing.
- Files and manages expense reports, ensuring timely submission and accurate documentation of expenses incurred. Includes tracking reimbursement status and resolving any discrepancies or issues.
- Organizes and maintains files, records, and databases, ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information. Supports the assigned leader with various ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience performing advanced administrative, secretarial, and clerical functions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Administrative support experience, preferably supporting senior leaders or executives
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Strong calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel planning experience.
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

- The primary work location for this position is the Metro West Service Territory (Compton, Whittier, Santa Monica, Long Beach, Southbay, Alhambra). However, the successful candidate may also be asked to work for an extended amount of time at alternate work location.
- Position will require up to 25% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory.
- Relocation does not apply to this position.
- This position requires testing and applicants who are identified to continue through the selection process will be invited to test via email. Reference our Information Guides for the following tests: (EEI BCAB (Test #5206)). Candidates who have previously passed these assessment(s), in some cases, may not need to retest again for this position.
