The Transmission Construction Foreman provides frontline leadership for transmission construction, maintenance, and restoration work, ensuring all operations are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and regulatory requirements. The role is accountable for protecting employees and the public by fostering a strong safety culture, making critical operational decisions, and adapting work plans to changing field conditions. Foremen drive workforce performance through coaching, mentoring, and developing employees, including apprentices and journeymen, while promoting accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement. As the primary link between management and field crews, they coordinate resources, communicate expectations, and lead teams to achieve operational excellence and reliable service delivery. Preferred Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in electric utility construction, maintenance, or transmission operations, including leadership responsibilities.
• Experience working within an IBEW-represented workforce and interpreting collective bargaining agreements.
• Ability to coach and develop employees, fostering skill growth, succession readiness, and career progression.

Additional Information

• This position’s work mode is on-site. The employee will report to an SCE facility or in the field location.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

• The primary work location for this position is Oak Hills Grid. However, the successful candidate may also be asked to work for an extended amount of time between the primary work location of Oak Hills and through 27k square miles of service territory North to the Bishop/Mammoth area.
• Position will require up to 40% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory. 

• This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation.  Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties.
• Relocation does not apply to this position.
