Become an Energy Efficiency Reporting Senior Analyst at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. Responsibilities
- Takes action on energy efficiency and demand response programs to optimize energy usage during peak periods
- Analyzes program reports and dashboard to identify conservation targets
- Coordinates program events with leadership and senior individual contributors
- Reviews complex energy usage data, load patterns, and grid conditions to identify potential opportunities and optimize program effectiveness
- Participates in meetings with internal teams, such as grid operations, customer service, and marketing, to ensure seamless integration of programs with overall utility operations and customer engagement efforts
- Reviews compliance and regulatory requirements and guidelines related to programs, including reporting obligations and adherence to program rules and protocols
- Recommends program effectiveness ideas and identify areas for improvement for all program related activities (i.e. training)
- Contributes in meetings with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, industry associations, and technology providers, to stay informed about industry trends, share best practices, and foster collaboration for the advancement of programs
- Serves as an expert and training lead for all program related topics
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience working with demand response principles, customer programs, or conservation/efficiency initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline.
- Strong data analytic skills.
- Experience with Excel, Access, Power BI and/or Power Apps.
- Experience in analyzing, reconciling and/or cleansing large data sets.
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
