Become a Executive Enablement and Workforce Development Senior Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this role, you will serve as a strategic workforce-development and executive-enablement partner supporting enterprise learning priorities and other complex, cross-organizational workforce development initiatives. You will help senior and C-suite leaders translate complex workforce, learning, and organizational priorities into clear strategies, executive communications, and coordinated action.
The successful candidate will bring extensive workforce-development experience, exceptional executive communication skills, strong business judgment, and demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide workforce development initiatives. This individual will develop executive presentations, briefings, talking points, decision materials, and strategic narratives; synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations; and maintain visibility across high-priority commitments, risks, decisions, and outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Directs the continuous development of the enterprise's skilling, upskilling, and reskilling processes and practices, including the building of differentiating capabilities at scale across the full organization aligning with mid to long term plans of the business.
- Designs and delivers complex technical training materials and content that meets expectations and appropriately reflects the needs of the audience.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to address training design, development and technical training delivery issues that may arise.
- Improves program effectiveness by analyzing data and providing insights or recommendations to leadership.
- Acts as a subject matter expert on the strategic direction relating to learning assessments and best practices. Optimizes technical training strategies and recommends effective training materials and curriculum priorities in order to produce successful training outcomes.
- Analyzes internal data, external research and best practice studies to make informed, strategic recommendations.
- Develops training dashboards and maintains other interactive applications for tracking purposes. Designs, develops and implements short and long-term training programs and strategies.
- Leads the development of best practices and standards frameworks for technical trainers and the technical training programs.
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ten or more years of experience in leading and implementing technical training initiatives.
- Experience in leading cross organizational training programs for improving employee performance or compliance training.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ten or more years of experience leading strategic workforce-development, learning and development, talent, or organizational-capability initiatives.
- Seven or more years of experience leading enterprise-wide or cross-organizational initiatives involving multiple business functions, senior leaders, and competing priorities.
- Seven or more years of experience developing executive and C-suite communications, including executive presentations, strategic narratives, talking points, decision papers, business cases, or briefing materials.
- Five or more years of experience directly advising executives or senior leaders on workforce, learning, organizational, or business priorities.
- Five or more years of experience synthesizing complex business information, workforce data, risks, and competing perspectives into concise executive recommendations and decisions.
- Five or more years of experience leading workforce strategies involving skilling, upskilling, reskilling, career pathways, workforce readiness, succession, or organizational capability.
- Five or more years of experience leading organizational change-management efforts, including executive sponsorship, stakeholder engagement, communications, readiness, adoption, and reinforcement.
- Experience establishing executive operating rhythms across two or more strategic initiatives or portfolios, including leadership-meeting preparation, decision tracking, commitment management, risk escalation, and follow-through.
- Experience using workforce, learning, operational, or employee data to develop executive insights and influence decisions for three or more enterprise or business-unit initiatives.
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
