Incident Management Team Expected Participation: Employees are expected to support emergency response and/or business continuity efforts, including readiness to serve on an Incident Management Team (IMT) when needed. Employees will participate in an on-call rotation (approximately every four to six weeks), to support IMT activations during emergency events. IMT assignments may differ from an individual’s regular responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Manages multiple work streams of one or more short-term projects with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods and outcomes
- Exercises latitude and judgement in developing plans, budgets, and resources, directing activities and actions, and determining deliverables
- Develops and recommends course of action on moderately complex projects in conjunction with the Project Manager
- Collaborates with Project Managers and Department/Division management on analyzing projects and recommending courses of action
- Assists in ensuring project plans and scope meet the agreed-upon business needs and expectations
- Monitors the project's key parameters such as budget, timeline and quality reviews
- Ensures project documentation is being effectively maintained ; Submits relevant documents to federal, state and local authorities for code compliance review and obtains required permits
- Prepares documentation and presentations to provide project needs or updates for the business; Gathers, defines and documents project scope, objectives, and requirements
- Tracks cost and schedule of the project and uses analytical skills to forecast future needs and trends; Resolves and raises problems of project specific scope within procedural guidelines
- Identifies opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement; Analyzes policies and procedures to provide next step recommendations as needed
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience in project management or project support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or related field preferred; project management coursework or certification in progress preferred.
- Experience supporting cross-functional process improvement, technology, or business initiatives.
- Experience assisting with the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, risks, issues, action items, and dependencies.
- Proficiency with project management or productivity tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, Smartsheet, Excel, SharePoint, or similar platforms.
- Experience gathering, documenting, and organizing business requirements, meeting notes, process information, or stakeholder input.
- Ability to coordinate with stakeholders, support meeting facilitation, track follow-ups, and help drive alignment across teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organization, and communication skills; exposure to utility operations, Meter-to-Cash (M2C) processes, billing, or regulatory environments preferred.
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
