Become a Marketing Communications Senior Specialist at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll play a critical leadership role in the design, implementation, and governance of SCE’s Compliance Program. This position partners closely with senior leadership, compliance program owners, and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and continuous process improvement across CPUC, FERC, Office of Energy Infrastructure Safety (Energy Safety), NERC regulations as well as supporting the Risk-based Compliance model.
Incident Management Team Expected Participation: Employees are expected to support emergency response and/or business continuity efforts, including readiness to serve on an Incident Management Team (IMT) when needed. Employees will participate in an on-call rotation (approximately every four to six weeks), to support IMT activations during emergency events. IMT assignments may differ from an individual’s regular responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- Provides reporting on key metrics related to major programs and initiatives.
- Develops, produces, and tracks key metrics through automated processes and KPI dashboards.
- Monitors the creation and storage of documentation and records for use in project monitoring, ensuring accuracy and completeness in order to track project/program costs, resources, schedules, and status for management review.
- Delivers data analysis and business intelligence reports, including complex requests with high internal and external visibility or special requests, such as audits.
- Coordinates research efforts on various topics to ensure timely information is gathered which can form the basis for decision making on organization priorities and needs.
- Contributes to process improvement and refinement efforts of department and/or Operating Unit. Develops and maintains systems/tools to facilitate work processes, records management, and communications in support of Business Operations analysis.
- Develops and reports on key performance indicators to measure efficiency and effectiveness of projects and programs.
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience in business operations analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience in marketing, communications, or marketing operations, including hands‑on execution of marketing projects and content.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Experience using project and marketing technology tools, such as Monday.com or similar platforms to manage workflows and execute campaigns.
- Experience working in a regulated or highly governed environment, with the ability to manage compliance, approvals, and cross‑functional review requirements.
- Experience with process improvement, automation, data analysis, and SharePoint governance.
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams, manage complex projects, and influence senior leadership.
- Excellent written, verbal, and executive‑level communication skills.
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
