Become a Program Manager, Business Resiliency & Weather Services (Advisor) at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll lead the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic programs and initiatives that support Weather Services, emergency preparedness, wildfire mitigation, and operational resiliency across the enterprise. You will partner with technical experts, operational organizations, and senior leadership to drive cross-functional projects, improve processes, manage program governance, and deliver actionable insights that strengthen SCE's ability to anticipate, prepare for, and respond to operational risks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Emergency Management, Engineering, Meteorology, Public Administration, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. 
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional programs or projects within utility operations, emergency management, wildfire mitigation, meteorology, risk management, or business resiliency.
• Demonstrated experience developing executive presentations, briefing materials, governance reports, and strategic communications for leadership audiences.
• Experience facilitating collaboration among technical experts, operational organizations, and corporate functions to achieve strategic objectives.
• Knowledge of utility emergency management, incident management systems, operational readiness, business continuity, or resiliency frameworks.
• Experience developing and monitoring key performance indicators, metrics, dashboards, and program reporting.
• Experience with data analytics, business intelligence tools, and Microsoft Office applications including Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, and the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Experience with AI technologies and productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to improve business processes and operational effectiveness.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across organizations with competing priorities.
• Exceptional organizational skills with high level of initiative and ability to effectively interface, collaborate, and partner with executives, senior management, clients and team members to help drive solutions and ensure stakeholder buy-in.
• Demonstrate sound leadership skills to set priorities, achieve desired actions and outcomes through facilitation, collaboration, negotiation and influence.

Additional Information 

• This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

• The primary work location for this position is Irwindale, CA. 
• Position will require up to 10% travel (if applicable) and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory. 
• This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation.  Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties.
