Become a Talent Acquisition, Senior Specialist at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this role you will serve as a strategic partner responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for a wide range of Corporate Client groups, including but not limited to IT, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Security, Engineering, Customer Service, Operational Services, Finance, and other corporate functions. This role requires deep expertise in full-cycle recruiting, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence hiring decisions through data, market insights, and consultative guidance. The ideal candidate brings experience recruiting for complex technical roles and is proficient in SuccessFactors or similar enterprise applicant tracking systems.

 

You will collaborate closely with hiring managers, HR partners, and business leaders to design and execute effective talent strategies that support organizational growth. Success in this role includes establishing clear service-level expectations, expanding your presence with client groups, and delivering consistent, compliant, and high-quality recruiting experience. This position requires independent judgment, a solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and completes requisitions in the appropriate applicant system in alignment with internal processes. Builds and maintains effective partnerships with other recruiters and hiring managers to create a strategic recruiting plans to attract top industry talent.
  • Provides consultation to hiring managers and other stakeholders in alignment with applicable federal and state employment laws and regulations as well as departmental processes.
  • Sources and pipelines candidates for jobs through internal and external tools and resources.
  • Aggregates market and industry data for the purposes of negotiating compensation with applicants and influencing strategic recruiting methods with hiring teams.
  • Ensures quality and approves job postings and advertising.
  • Contributes to the company's employer brand by promoting workplace culture, values, and tech-related initiatives.
  • Builds and maintains the network of potential candidates through proactive market research.
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Five or more years of experience in full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, crafting job postings, and building recruitment strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Experience recruiting across multiple job families, including niche or hard-to-fill technical roles.
  • Strong understanding of recruiting technologies, sourcing tools, and talent intelligence platforms.
  • Experience recruiting highly technical roles in Information Technlogy, Cyber and Engineering Disciplines.
  • Ability to interpret recruiting data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Proven consultative approach with hiring managers and cross-functional partners.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

  • The position’s work mode is remote. Employee is able to work primarily at home or remote however, the employee may be expected to come to an SCE facility on occasion. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Hiring organizations can add further requirements related to specific jobs.
