As a senior advisor, you will partner with cross-functional leaders to design and implement data-driven training strategies, optimize curriculum effectiveness, and strengthen the organization’s ability to deliver safe, reliable service. Your work will directly support critical initiatives such as wildfire mitigation, safety interventions, compliance readiness, and operational performance improvement.

Responsibilities
- Directs the continuous development of the enterprise's skilling, upskilling, and reskilling processes and practices, including the building of differentiating capabilities at scale across the full organization aligning with mid to long term plans of the business.
- Designs and delivers complex technical training materials and content that meets expectations and appropriately reflects the needs of the audience.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to address training design, development and technical training delivery issues that may arise.
- Improves program effectiveness by analyzing data and providing insights or recommendations to leadership.
- Acts as a subject matter expert on the strategic direction relating to learning assessments and best practices. Optimizes technical training strategies and recommends effective training materials and curriculum priorities in order to produce successful training outcomes.
- Analyzes internal data, external research and best practice studies to make informed, strategic recommendations.
- Develops training dashboards and maintains other interactive applications for tracking purposes. Designs, develops and implements short and long-term training programs and strategies.
- Leads the development of best practices and standards frameworks for technical trainers and the technical training programs.
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ten or more years of experience in leading and implementing technical training initiatives.
- Experience in leading cross organizational training programs for improving employee performance or compliance training.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience assessing the impact and leading large scale training implementation for regulatory requirements, safety initiatives, and operational changes on electric grid infrastructure, and translating findings into actionable training strategies.
- Experience leading training programs for a utility company.
- Experience designing and sustaining enterprise training programs, including curriculum governance, continuous improvement, and alignment to evolving regulatory or operational needs.
- Experience developing and leveraging data analytics, dashboards, and performance metrics to evaluate training effectiveness and influence leadership decisions.
- Experience collaborating with senior leaders, vendors, and contractors to deliver complex initiatives and drive alignment across multiple organizational units, including managing contract resources.
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
