In this job, you’ll lead a team of internal employees and external consultants to identify and define business process improvements and transformations enabled by the Company’s next-generation Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system, “AMI 2.0,” a multi-billion dollar program where SCE is leading the industry in implementing the latest “grid edge” technologies. Responsibilities
- Develops and executes a comprehensive transformation strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
- Stays current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains competitive and innovative.
- Analyzes the current state of the organization and performs impact assessments around processes, systems, and culture, to identify areas for improvement.
- Develops and maintains project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful delivery of transformation initiatives.
- Monitors and evaluates progress against targets, identifying areas of improvement and making necessary adjustments.
- Engages and influences stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, to gain support and alignment for the transformation efforts.
- Serves as lead on implementation teams and the single point of contact for assigned technology workshops as well as oversees the development of tools, data readiness efforts, and processes needed to ensure a successful implementation of Asset Management principles and asset integration business planning.
- This position is expected to be a subject matter expert.
- Provides strategic guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and development.
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ten or more years of business operations and/or transformation experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Business process design and business requirements capture for large system implementations or upgrades
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
- Electric utility experience
- Advanced metering infrastructure experience
- MBA
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
