This role plays a critical part in strengthening SCE’s quality and compliance programs by identifying causes, communicating findings, and partnering with stakeholders to implement effective corrective actions. Through collaboration with cross-functional partners, this leader helps reduce risk, prevent recurrence, and advance a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Develops, updates, and implements risk-based and appropriate quality management systems, policies, and procedures.
- Develops and implements a scalable quality-based compliance program capable of supporting SCE's growth strategy.
- Builds and implements a continuous improvement culture through training and the implementation of tools and methods and provides leadership and guidance to teams on best practices; monitoring and supporting the development of team members with training plans.
- Establishes and manages the performance and effectiveness of quality systems and processes and leads and implements compliance and process improvements in quality systems.
- Develops comprehensive plans for emerging and changing compliance requirements required to be implemented across the entire company.
- Develops quality assessment protocols to successfully support SCE's goal of reducing compliance risks through the identification of value drivers and effective solutions.
- Champions data integrity as a key competitive advantage. Transforms the compliance quality review program through the use of advanced data analytics and solution-driven approach, providing management visibility on compliance health, risk exposures, and process deficiencies.
- Oversees the execution of day-to-day activities based on quality objectives in alignment with corporate policies and goals.
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Five or more years of combined experience supervising or performing advanced data analytics, reporting and developing process improvement opportunities to ensure quality of processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience performing cause evaluations/investigations.
- Strong experience with SAP
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field
- Experience facilitating and leading cross functional teams.
- Project management experience
- Experience and knowledge of Transmission and Distribution operations, policies, and work processes.
- Experience and/or knowledge of the Initiate, Plan, Schedule, Execute, and Close (IPSEC) processes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders and subject matter experts across multiple and cross-functional organizational units; clearly present analyses, observations, and recommendations to drive collaboration and agreement on sustainable corrective actions.
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

- This position has been identified as a potencial NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation. Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties.
