Additionally, you will lead communications initiatives—crafting clear messaging, fostering engagement, and ensuring alignment among diverse teams and stakeholders. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, hands-on leadership, and the ability to translate complex challenges into actionable solutions that support the organization’s mission and growth. Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements business operating plans which align with Operating Unit or enterprise business strategy and short, medium-term objectives
  • Develops and implements business operations risk management strategies
  • Leads the prioritization of strategic planning scenarios which effectively address business challenges while successfully achieving operational performance metrics
  • Defines business metrics, evaluate impact of new and existing initiatives, and initiate and implement changes to improve ongoing operations
  • Administers projects including planning, strategizing, coordination, implementation and quality control
  • Designs project management systems/tools to facilitate work processes, records management, and communications
  • Oversees the undertaking of data gathering for the development of strategies based upon the market
  • Oversees the allocation of resources, ensures delivery of sufficient support to a business function
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Five or more years of experience supervising a team of direct reports and/or project management.
  • Leading business operations analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Deep knowledge of SCE tariffs, design standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to utility planning and design functions
  • Demonstrated strong analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and oversee the development and implementation of process improvements
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of Design programs such as Design Manager, Autodesk Utility Design, and SPIDA Calc
  • Knowledge of IPSEC and Distribution Policies and Procedures
  • Experience developing and leading communications plans or strategies, managing communications initiatives and teams to support organization objectives.
  • Experience In Developing Business Plans to support organization objectives
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification
  • PMP, PMI or related Project Management certification

  • The position’s work mode is remote. Employee is able to work primarily at home or remote however, the employee may be expected to come to an SCE facility on occasion. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Hiring organizations can add further requirements related to specific jobs.
