In this job, you’ll lead data architecture, analytics, integration, and migration efforts, collaborating with system integrators and stakeholders across SAP and non-SAP environments. This initiative offers the opportunity for input and management of critical decisions for the S/4 implementation project, focusing on data architecture and application security as it relates to SAP RISE.  Shape critical decisions in SAP RISE implementation while partnering with teams in infrastructure, cybersecurity, and SAP EAM, FI, and SCM technologies team to transform operations and reduce carbon emissions.

Responsibilities

  • Manages activities of one or more large, mid to long-term projects with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods and outcomes
  • Develops business plans, objectives and initiatives for the organization
  • Provides inputs to organizational objectives and policies and ensures delivery of results
  • Engages regularly with senior management as a key consultant on critical business issues
  • Directs complex Agile release train planning, synchronization, and delivery across products and portfolios
  • Oversees data and platform migrations between legacy and next-gen systems with minimal business disruption
  • Facilitates the design and integration of robust continuous improvement/development (CI/CD) pipelines for enterprise-scale test automation and rapid release cycles
  • Leads large-scale Agile teams through full software development lifecycles from inception to deprecation
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ten or more years of experience in IT project management.
  • Experience managing activities of one or more large, mid to long-term projects with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods and outcomes.
  • Experience with IT Program Management or large enterprise projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or engineering.
  • Proficiency as the technical owner in managing and implementing cloud services andapplications, particularly in data management, data analytics and SAP application.
  • Extensive experience in IT project management, including quality assurance, metrics control, and managing project timelines. 
  • Strong ability to engage and manage relationships with vendors and stakeholders with multiple vendors and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and timely delivery.
  • Experience and understanding of utility industry processes, regulations and implementation of software applications is a plus.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, including architects, security, techno-functional leads, and external SI consultants
  • Experience with big data modeling projects for structured and unstructured data
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

 

Additional Information 

  • Project Regular Position: This is a full-time project regular position with an estimated end date of December 31, 2027. This position is eligible for company benefits and incentives during the duration of the assignment.
  • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
