This critical, strategic program leverages the latest business transformation management methodologies and tools as well as advanced technology innovations such as AI/ML capabilities to enable an enterprise-wide future-focused business transformation. In this job, you’ll perform as a Services Architect/Outsourcing Advisor with a deep IT Service Management background. We're ideally seeking people that are familiar with service catalogs and AMS/ADM service delivery models in support of large and complex SAP footprints. In this role, there is the potential that you will deliver Program Management/Delivery Management functions, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the end-to-end planning, development, design, implementation, and operationalization of enterprise solutions.
  • Designs and establishes scalable, adaptable operating models and governance frameworks to support evolving business and technology requirements.
  • Drives business process re-engineering, process optimization, and the design of best-in-class workflows to enhance operational efficiency across the organization.
  • Oversees product and program management activities, including the creation and maintenance of comprehensive project plans, solution delivery roadmaps, and supporting documentation for transformation projects.
  • Collaborates with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and prioritize detailed business requirements, translating them into actionable user stories and product features.
  • Manages IT portfolio planning by evaluating projects, evaluating financial impact and risks, and aligning initiatives with organizational goals and strategy.
  • Develops and communicates clear, actionable roadmaps and strategic plans to guide cross-functional teams toward successful product outcomes.
  • Assesses and recommends strategic solutions and technology options to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and achievement of desired business objectives.
  • Supports change management initiatives, partnering with OCM practitioners, service providers and stakeholders to ensure smooth adoption of new processes, technologies, and organizational changes.
  • Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product success, identify areas for improvement, and guide future development.
     

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ten or more years of experience in transformational information technology product or project management including complex process redesign, application development and maintenance.
  • 5 or more years of experience in designing and implementing IT service delivery and operating models.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, Statistics/ Mathematics or equivalent STEM major.
     

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years or more of full lifecycle SAP implementations including SAP ECC and S/4 HANA ERP, including familiarity with various SAP ERP modules (e.g., ERP, CRM, SCM, HCM) and their functionalities.
  • 7 years or more of proven track record of successful SAP implementations, including project planning, execution, and go-live support. 
  • Proven ability to lead and manage service delivery teams, ensuring adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and customer expectations.
  • Strong understanding of service contracts, including negotiation, interpretation, and adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • In-depth knowledge of Application Management Services (AMS) models, including incident management, problem management, change management, and release management.
  • Experience in negotiating and managing broker agreements with third-party vendors.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements, identify potential risks and challenges, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • ITIL certifications strongly preferred.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring skills to guide and motivate team members.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues.

 

Additional Information 

  • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

  • Project Regular Position: This is a full-time project regular position with an estimated end date of December 31, 2027. This position is eligible for company benefits and incentives during the duration of the assignment.
