Become an Information Technology Senior Project Manager at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you will oversee security, compliance, and application security solution delivery, working closely with system integrators and stakeholders in both SAP and non-SAP environments. You will play a key part in managing and guiding critical decisions for the S/4 implementation and NERC-CIP project, with a strong focus on application security for SAP and other on-premises solutions. Collaborate with teams in infrastructure, cybersecurity, SAP, GRC, and IAM to ensure robust compliance and security practices, while helping to transform operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manages activities of one or more large, mid- to long-term projects with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods and outcomes.
  • Develops business plans, objectives and initiatives for the organization.
  • Provides inputs to organizational objectives and policies and ensures delivery of results.
  • Engages regularly with senior management as a key consultant on critical business issues.
  • Directs complex Agile release training planning, synchronization, and delivery across products and portfolios. Oversees data and platform migrations between legacy and next-gen systems with minimal business disruption.
  • Facilitates the design and integration of robust continuous improvement/development (CI/CD) pipelines for enterprise-scale test automation and rapid release cycles.
  • Leads large-scale Agile teams through full software development lifecycles from inception to deprecation.
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ten or more years of experience in IT project management.
  • Experience managing activities of one or more large, mid-to-term projects with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods and outcomes.
  • Experience in IT Program Management or large enterprise projects.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or engineering.
  • Proficiency as the technical owner in managing and implementing cloud services and applications, particularly in SAP application, security and compliance NERC-CIP.
  • Extensive experience in IT project management, including quality assurance, metrics control, and managing project timelines.
  • Strong ability to engage and manage relationships with vendors and stakeholders with multiple vendors and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and timely delivery.
  • Experience and understanding of utility industry processes, compliance, regulations and implementation of software applications is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience deploying IT and and/or Cybersecurity projects and tools
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, including architects, process owners, security, techno-functional leads, and external SI consultants
  • Comprehensive knowledge with stakeholder management across architecture, engineering, and risk management, change management, process improvement and tracking to measure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies 

 

Additional Information 

  • Project Regular Position: This is a full-time project regular position that will last for 24 months. This position is eligible for company benefits and incentives during the duration of the assignment.
  • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
