Become an Invoicing Specialist at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll play a critical part in supporting Vegetation Management operations by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of high-volume contractor invoices, maintaining compliance with contractual agreements, and helping contractors receive prompt payment. As the primary point of contact for invoicing support, the role drives collaboration, resolves complex issues, and strengthens relationships between contractors and internal stakeholders.

By facilitating communication and removing invoicing barriers, this role helps keep essential vegetation management work moving forward safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Supports and promotes energy safety programs, including monitoring public safety around energy delivery facilities.
  • Monitors the performance and quality of work based on analysis and performance metrics.
  • Performs data modeling studies, develops detailed data models, and maintains data model and entity relationship diagrams.
  • Reports and corrects large data and transaction details within company policies and procedures, translating data analysis into actionable insights for stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Ensures that equipment systems meet organization and industry standards and maintains appropriate project documentation.
  • Schedules maintenance, trouble operations / service restoration, metering operations or operations planning work.
  • Monitors and confirms the accuracy of work orders for completeness and verifies necessary documents are present to ensure compliance with the company and regulatory standards and policies.
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Three or more years of experience in energy delivery and distribution.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in SAP Ariba
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience using Excel
  • Experience with end-to-end invoice processing 

 

 

Additional Information 

  • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
