Responsibilities
- Coordinates and communicates time-off requests related to union activities.
- Prepares, reconciles, and processes reports related to union operations and employee data.
- Performs accurate and timely data entry in HR systems.
- Processes labor-related requests and maintain up-to-date tracking documentation.
- Maintains and organizes confidential labor relations records and agreements.
- Manages document retention schedules and ensure compliance with recordkeeping standards.
- Oversees updates to internal content, ensuring accuracy of union-related materials and resources.
- Schedules and coordinates meetings with internal teams and union representatives.
- Organizes bargaining sessions, fact-finding meetings, and other union-related events.
- Monitors shared team inbox; respond to general inquiries or route to appropriate contacts.
- Serves as a liaison between HR and union contacts for various ad hoc requests.
- Generates and distributes recurring reports, such as union dues, seniority lists, and billing summaries.
- Assists with formatting and validating HR data for internal and external reporting.
- Supports administration of labor-related employee benefit programs.
- Liaises with third-party vendors to address employee concerns and eligibility questions.
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Three or more years of experience providing support in Labor Relation or Human Resources.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous first-hand experience working in a highly unionized environment
- Previous experience managing multiple data sets in relation to Human Resources projects/programs, with an emphasis on previous experience handling labor relations-related data and information
- Ability to multitask and remain agile and flexible are critical
- Experience interacting with all levels of customers and other stakeholders, both internal and external
- Previous experience with SAP and/or Success Factors
- Advanced level abilities in all Microsoft Office 365 applications
- Experience with online case management software
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
