Become an Next Generation Business Transformation & Readiness, Senior Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll help oversee NextGen Work Management efforts! You will lead briefings and strategic discussions and bring your coordination, persuasion and influencing skills to bear with all levels of leadership across Transmission & Distribution including Senior Managers, Principal Managers and Directors, with occasional interaction with VP and SVP leaders. You will influence all levels of the organization, including driving initiatives and specific work tasks for System Integrator and support staff. Additionally, you will participate in developing tools, data readiness efforts, and processes necessary to implement Initiation, Plan, Schedule, Execution, and Close (IPSEC) principles in Work Management for Transmission, Distribution, Substation, and/or Generation. This position is expected to be a subject matter expert in all aspects related to the Initiation and Planning processes within the IPSEC model for Transmission & Distribution.
NextGen ERP is a large, complex multi-year program designed to transform the way the electric utility operates. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive transformation strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains competitive and innovative.
- Analyze the current state of the organization and perform impact assessments around processes, systems, and culture, to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful delivery of transformation initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate progress against targets, identifying areas of improvement and making necessary adjustments.
- Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, to gain support and alignment for the transformation efforts.
- Serve as lead on implementation teams and the single point of contact for assigned technology workshops as well as oversee the development of tools, data readiness efforts, and processes needed to ensure a successful implementation of Asset Management principles and asset integration business planning
- This position is expected to be a subject matter expert.
- Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and development.

Minimum Qualifications
- Ten or more years of business operations and/or transformation experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Transmission, Distribution, Substation, and/or Generation Work Management functions in relation to the IPSEC model.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration or other related field.
- Experience in managing large-scale projects, particularly those involving cross-functional teams, and working on Agile projects. This includes assisting in end-user validation and testing activities.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Proficient analytical skills to interpret data and produce actionable insights.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel and Power Bi.
- Attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in participating in workshops to design process improvements and implementing the results.
- Change Management Expertise: Ability to lead and manage change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new processes or systems.
- Experience with system implementations and migration from legacy systems.
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

- This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation. Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties.
- Position will require up to 20% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory.
