Become a Planning Manager at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll lead a dynamic and diverse team of planners, designers, and analysts, collaborating closely with contractor partners to manage a high volume of projects including deteriorated pole replacements, grid modernization projects, and other critical capital infrastructure work. Preferred Qualifications

• Commitment to maintaining a safety-conscious work environment, ensuring all planning and field activities comply with safety protocols.
• Experience in employee development and talent management.
• Experience developing strategic plans to support workflow optimization, resource allocation, and departmental operations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing work orders or construction plans using established construction, engineering, and design practices.
• Experience with distribution system design, including construction standards, transmission, and distribution design standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook 365, and utility-specific tools such as DM, GeoView, SPIDA, and Ariba.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

Additional Information

• This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

• The primary work location for this position is Pomona.  However, the successful candidate may also be asked to work for an extended amount of time at alternate work location.
• Position will require up to 30% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory. 
• This position has an option for a 9/80 Alternate Work Schedule or 40hrs/5 days a week.
• Relocation does not apply to this position.
