Responsibilities
- Manage title and/or valuation staff and vendor staffing needs, ensuring team adherence to utility industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead staff meetings, participate in leadership meetings, and guide SCE staff development in property accounting and title management.
- Maintain SAP tasking, monthly reporting, and manage work status, ensuring compliance with FERC USOA and internal controls.
- Support title-related condemnation/litigation work and coordinate with internal/external attorneys, ensuring proper documentation and regulatory compliance.
- Attend major project meetings to provide updates on appraisal progress, asset valuation, and financial property accounting.
- Collaborate with Procurement to secure title vendors and maintain purchase orders, ensuring vendor compliance with utility standards and regulatory requirements.
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Five or more years combined experience performing or supervising real estate title work including title research, transactions, deed writing, and escrow management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience leading or supervising in real estate title, valuation/appraisal, land transactions, or a related discipline
- Knowledge of real estate documentation, title research, and property transactions required to support utility or infrastructure projects
- Licensed Real Estate Appraiser
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry standards
- Valid California Class C Driver’s License (or ability to obtain) to support field visits and work across the SCE service territory
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

- The primary work location for this position is Pomona, CA (Pomona Innovation Village). However, the successful candidate may also be asked to work for an extended amount of time throughout the SCE service territory.
- Position will require up to 10% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory.
- Relocation does not apply to this position.
