Become a Vehicle Fleet Management Specialist at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll work assigned duties across fleet functions and supplier management activities. This team supports $35M in annual generator rental services, $10M in equipment rental spend, administration of 4,000 active leases with a $250 M+ financed balance, electronic driver compliance systems for 3,300 MD and HD drivers and remarketing of up to 800 assets annually. Fleet financial reporting and CARB compliance reporting functions are also in scope. This position supports a growing fleet of 6,700 assets with $1B replacement value and $160M annual operating costs. Preferred Qualifications

• B.S Degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance or Engineering.
• Experience with an construction or utility work truck fleet and asset classes (Digger Derricks, Bucket Trucks, Cranes, Cable Pullers, etc.)
• Experience in transportation or vehicle related fleet asset management role.
• Experience making in-depth fleet asset management models to drive effective management recommendations.
• Supplier contract management experience.

Additional Information 

• This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

• This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation.  Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties.
• The primary work location for this position is Pomona.  However, the successful candidate may also be asked to work for an extended amount of time at in the field throughout the SCE service territory. 
• Position will require up to 30% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory.
• This position has an option for a 9/80 Alternate Work Schedule or 40hrs/5 days a week.
• Relocation does not apply to this position.
