This position plays a key role in managing and ensuring the quality of wildfire-related data to support accurate compliance reporting to leadership and the Office of Energy Infrastructure Safety. Working closely with Senior Advisors, the role advances data quality and process improvement efforts across multiple partner organizations. The position enhances analytical support for operating units through improved data collection, analysis, and reporting, oversees the performance of wildfire initiatives, collaborates with business partners to evaluate and communicate results, and identifies emerging trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Improves the delivery of analytical support to an Operating Unit and/or the enterprise, enhancing the collection, analysis and reporting of data, which enables successful completion of key business operations projects.
- Provides advice to stakeholders, presenting analytical findings and making recommendations as to their impact on business operations.
- Identifies and improves operational processes and procedures, from maintenance to development of reporting dashboards, to streamline business practice and improve efficiency.
- Collects and analyzes data in order to present findings and make recommendations.
- Develops models to help inform decision-making on emerging technology investments.
- Improves the development of business plan scenarios to evaluate different priorities and potential options to achieving the operating unit and/or enterprise objectives.
- Verifies that established processes are aligned with relevant rules, principles, laws, and industry standards with the goal to safeguard assets, minimize errors, and ensure operational activities are performed to mitigate risk.
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Seven or more years of experience in business operations analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Proficient in data tools such as Power BI, Palantir Foundry, Power Automate, MS Excel for data management reporting and analysis.
- Experience with SCE’s Wildfire Mitigation Plan (WMP) and/or other grid resiliency initiatives.
- Possesses a strong attention to detail to support data quality control.
- Experience with data compilation, analysis, performance management metrics, reporting and/or related analytical experience.
- Works well under pressure to meet emergent deadlines.
- Effectively interface and collaborate with business partners, cross functional project teams, peers, regulators, and all levels of management.
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
