Responsibilities

  • Reconciles accounts payable total and general ledger with other applicable records (e.g., subsidiary vendors' ledger)
  • Assists reconciling monthly statements and transactions for accounting records and ledgers
  • Analyzes invoices such as Non PO transactions expense reports for payment eligibility and accuracy
  • Collects invoices to ensure proper authorization, adherence to SCE policies, and accuracy
  • Maintains proper documentation of purchases for use in periodic audits and tax preparation
  • Ensures payment terms and vendor agreement compliance by processing payments accurately and timely
  • Supports the growth of SCE by implementing new controls and procedures and following existing procedures
  • Ensures timely and accurate payments; oversees cash flow reporting
  • Analyzes financial data/KPIs to identify trends and provides recommendations aimed at identifying potential improvement opportunities
  • Properly handles and codes invoices to maintain inventory records and general ledger expense accounts by preparing guidelines
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Three or more years of experience with reconciliation of accounts payable and general ledger with other applicable records.

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Experience with SAP and/or SCE Systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and take initiative when faced with new challenges.

 

 

Additional Information

 

  • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
