Become an Enterprise Security Business Operations Senior Analyst at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll play a key role in supporting the people, financial, and operational processes that keep our Enterprise Security organization running effectively. This position provides visibility into workforce planning, budget performance, vendor spend, invoice readiness, and organizational data that help leaders make informed decisions in a highly regulated, critical infrastructure environment.

 

More specifically, you’ll support the Enterprise Security Business Operations portfolio by providing resource management support to help allocate cybersecurity personnel and assets efficiently, maintaining accurate organization and headcount records, supporting organization cleanup and movement activities, preparing monthly Cyber financial updates, and supporting Non-PO invoice processing, including invoice readiness review, funding and vendor validation, approval coordination, payment tracking, and documentation management.

Responsibilities

  • Provides reporting on key metrics related to major programs and initiatives.
  • Develops, produces, and tracks key metrics through automated processes and KPI dashboards.
  • Monitors the creation and storage of documentation and records for use in project monitoring, ensuring accuracy and completeness in order to track project/program costs, resources, schedules, and status for management review.
  • Delivers data analysis and business intelligence reports, including complex requests with high internal and external visibility or special requests, such as audits.
  • Coordinates research efforts on various topics to ensure timely information is gathered which can form the basis for decision making on organization priorities and needs.
  • Contributes to process improvement and refinement efforts of department and/or Operating Unit. Develops and maintains systems/tools to facilitate work processes, records management, and communications in support of Business Operations analysis.
  • Develops and reports on key performance indicators to measure efficiency and effectiveness of projects and programs.
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Five or more years of experience in business operations analysis.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting business operations for a security, technology, utility, or similarly regulated organization, including workforce coordination, financial reporting, vendor support, records management, and organizational data maintenance.
  • Experience coordinating supplemental worker onboarding and offboarding, including intake coordination, access readiness, documentation completion, end-date validation, and timely updates to workforce records.
  • Ability to maintain accurate headcount, organization, and workforce tracking tools, including employee, contractor, supplemental worker, vacancy, reporting relationship, position, cost center, and movement data.
  • Experience preparing recurring financial updates, including budget, forecast, actuals, accruals, variance explanations, vendor spend, and status information for management review and decision-making.
  • Experience supporting Non-PO invoice processing, including reviewing invoice packages for required documentation, approvals, funding confirmation, vendor readiness, payment authorization, and supporting information before submitting for payment processing.
  • Experience maintaining invoice tracking tools, aging reports, payment status trackers, and documentation records to provide visibility into pending, approved, and completed payments while supporting internal controls and audit readiness.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, follow up with stakeholders, resolve open items, and maintain accurate records in a regulated or critical infrastructure environment.

 

 

Additional Information 

  • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
