Primary Functions:

 

  • Forecast and Report: Accurately forecast and report actuals for both operational and capital expenses, ensuring financial transparency and accountability.
  • Model Scenario-Based Spend: Develop and maintain models for scenario-based spending, helping to guide strategic financial decisions.
  • Financial Management: Maintain financial work orders and cost objects in SAP and other systems, ensuring precise financial tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Provides support to a department or Operating Unit, coordinating the execution of key business operations projects and initiatives by helping to facilitate project meetings, and develop, track and close out project accomplishments, and track/present status
  • Performs and organizes timely and accurate data collection, processing, extraction and preparation and implements processes and procedures to maintain documentation and records for management
  • Delivers analytical results and actionable recommendations to partners and stakeholders
  • Creates and analyzes reports and draws conclusions on data and information through independent research and analysis to recognize and resolve issues
  • Supports multiple concurrent projects
  • Supports the development of department and/or operating unit plan scenarios to evaluate different priorities and potential options to achieving organization objectives
  • Contributes to process improvement and refinement efforts by assisting relevant project teams, especially in the planning stage
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Three or more years of experience performing business operations analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Experience in financial forecasting/modeling
  • Relevant work experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience with financial systems and software such as SAP and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret and draw conclusions from financial data
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI

 

Additional Information

 

  • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
