In this job, you’ll be the primary HR Business Partner to an assigned set of Operating Units (OUs) within our Corporate Centers OUs providing thought leadership, guidance, and support to executives, leaders, and employees at all levels of the organization on HR/people related matters. This requires business acumen that will be proven by staying connected to big picture OU priorities and needs, business objectives as well as building an understanding of their unique workforce, culture, and work environment in order to more strategically advise. You will leverage overall knowledge of human resources programs and practices to provide a cohesive view of strategic and tactical people efforts. Responsibilities
- Encourages people and culture practices that promote the retention of high potential and other key talent
- Develops, aligns, and executes HR programs and initiatives, driving them to successful completion in support of business unit plans
- Manages and implements change management initiatives and leads a portion or work stream of larger change management strategy
- Consults with internal or external partners to assess, design and implement change management strategies/programs for business unit/HR initiatives; brokers with partners to provide the right resources for initiatives to ensure successful outcomes
- Develops strategies and programs to fit the needs of the organization; consults on change impact of process improvement initiatives
- Monitors progress against metrics and milestones, coaching business unit leadership throughout the change
- Translates business unit strategy and creates short and mid-term business unit specific HR initiatives in support of the business strategy for assigned internal clients, utilizing data and metrics for informed decision-making and driving HR strategies with analytics
- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning, ensuring all HR policies comply with labor laws and regulations
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ten or more years of experience in a Human Resources Business Partner or HR generalist role.
Preferred Qualifications
- HRBP experience delivering HR solutions within a COE operating model.
- SPHR or SHRM-SCP Certifications
- Experience with large-scale organizational change.
- Experience supporting Finance and/or Audit department.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, apply critical thinking, and translate data into insights by articulating findings and opportunities in a compelling and influential manner.
- Create and maintain trusted, working relationships at all levels, including senior level executives.
- Ability to routinely exercise judgement and discretion to advise and recommend course of action.
- Experience coaching employees and leaders.
- Experience leading and/or contributing to multiple complex projects.
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
