Responsibilities

  • Manages activities of one or more large, mid to long-term projects with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods and outcomes. 
  • Supports the development and execution of business plans and initiatives aligned with organizational objectives. 
  • Provides project insights and recommendations to leadership to support decision‑making. 
  • Partners with HR leadership and stakeholders on project‑related issues and escalations. 
  • Manages and executes HR projects, collaborates with cross-functional HR teams and sets tactical and strategic priorities. 
  • Lead change management activities for HR projects, including development and execution of communication plans and stakeholder engagement materials. 
  • Tracks project metrics, outcomes, and satisfaction measures to support assessment of HR project value and effectiveness. 
  • Implements project management reporting tools, progress dashboards, and methodologies to gain visibility into HR project health and status. 
  • Works closely with third-party vendors to ensure contract terms and conditions are being met as well as managing the project schedule. 
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Seven or more years of experience in human resources project management or related project management roles. 
  • Experience managing large, complex projects impacting HR strategy and business objectives. 
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices. 
  • Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills. 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Experience leading HR projects; Compensation and/or Benefits project experience preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or other Project Management Certification.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum practices within a broader traditional or hybrid project framework.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field. 

 

Additional Information

 

  • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
