In this job, you’ll oversee and influence the design and testing of products and applications, and infrastructure to ensure high-quality levels and minimize defects. This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to enterprise standards, identifying process gaps, and facilitating improvements. The position focuses on integrating quality with product design and development to support system stability and operational effectiveness. Collaboration with architects, engineers, managers, and test leads is required to align quality strategies and maintain architectural integrity, ensuring systems are thoroughly tested prior to deployment. The role participates in end-to-end implementations to promote design efficiency and post-implementation evaluation. Responsibilities also include establishing quality metrics, analyzing reports and defective products to identify trends, and recommending corrective actions. Additionally, the role involves developing process improvement plans and providing oversight to solution engineering across multiple portfolios.

Responsibilities
- Collaborates with cross-functional organizations to ensure technical project scope includes IT engineering services needed for successful transition and architectural alignment into operations
- Supports the Managed Service Provider (MSP) Engineering Services team to ensure that products built are free of flaws, function as designed, follow design standards, and leverage existing and new technologies optimally and effectively
- Enforces standards, best practices, and governance for integration of complex systems
- Reviews and ensures deliverables meet proper standards and requirements traceability from software development lifecycle and technology platform deployment and maintenance lifecycle
- Manages monitoring and measurement capability for the performance of the IT services portfolio and drives quality into product design and build to ensure system stability and effective operations
- Establishes performance expectations, monitors and analyzes MSP performance metrics (productivity and quality) to recommend process improvements that align with defined business strategy
- Ensures application stability, data integrity, policy adherence, and that the quality and timeliness of resolution for application issues and operational activities are met within service level agreements and within business expectation
- Engages business stakeholders and level sets business expectation by communicating certain business outcomes and escalations
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Seven or more years of experience with IT systems management, software development lifecycle, and infrastructure management.
- Experience supporting Managed Service Provider (MSP) operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related technical field.
- Comprehensive Knowledge of Scrum methodologies.
- Five or more years of experience integrating input from solution architecture and business requirements, designing and developing systems.
- Experience in developing strategies, roadmaps and models in an enterprise environment.
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties.
