Responsibilities
- Facilitates special programs and projects as requested to positively affect organizational culture and enhances organizational development offerings.
- Supports the talent review and succession planning process, including coordinating enterprise‐wide strategy, schedule, and system enhancement processes.
- Identifies key organizational needs by developing trusted relationships with leaders across the enterprise and co‐creates solutions and approaches to help address gaps.
- Reviews key performance metrics to enable accurate and valid measurement of workforce performance and to identify areas for improvement.
- Designs and conducts assessments to identify organizational strengths, areas for improvement, and talent gaps using tools such as surveys, interviews, and performance evaluations.
- Assesses organizational structures, processes, and workflows to optimize efficiency, collaboration, and agility, recommending changes as needed to align with strategic objectives.
- Facilitates the development of organizational structures, systems, and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
- Provides advice and guidance to senior management on organizational development strategies.
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial, and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ten or more years of experience with organizational‐development strategies, conducting organizational assessments, effectiveness, employee engagement, and change‐management strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner or Instructor
- Experience navigating change in utilities, energy, or comparable infrastructure organizations with enterprise scale and regulatory complexity preferred
- Experience operating within a Center of Excellence (COE) or enterprise model, including setting standards, governance, and ways of working
- Strong systems thinking - able to connect strategy, structure, culture, leadership behavior, and employee experience
- Comfortable balancing strategic design with hands‑on delivery across multiple, competing initiatives
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
