This role combines end‑to‑end accountability for regulatory and operational compliance with ownership of data strategy, business intelligence, and analytics enablement. You will set the strategic direction for programs, policies, controls, and data‑driven insights that support operational excellence, transparency, and continuous improvement across Operational Services.

Responsibilities
- Drives standards and best practices in quality assurance and champions the adoption of continuous quality improvement through the implementation of process automation.
- Leads and facilitates process improvement for the organization and partners with extended cross-functional teams at all levels, on overall use of tools to drive productivity.
- Oversees the implementation of practices and processes to ensure quality and adherence to established procedures and leads the quality systems changes, new initiatives, and process improvement to support evolving regulations and standards.
- Leads the development of quality procedures, quality manual documents, and quality reporting, and serves as subject matter expert for quality program implementation.
- Oversees the development and implementation of corrective actions and performance improvement processes and manages the resolution of any identified observations and findings from internal or external audits.
- Designs, develops and implements risk-based assessment plans to evaluate compliance quality performance of various key corporate initiatives.
- Creates a tactical and strategic roadmap to meet the goals and objectives of the organization and oversees the strategic development and management of quality assurance efforts to create a strong compliance and quality culture across the enterprise.
- Oversees the development and establishment of the enterprise-wide quality assurance program with implementation of the risk-based compliance framework on various financial and energy regulatory compliance requirements.
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience supervising a team of direct reports and/or project management
- Experience in advanced data analytics, reporting and developing process improvement opportunities to ensure quality of processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- Advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred.
- Experience with S2P / P2P platforms, SAP ECC, Ariba, or enterprise analytics tools.
- Demonstrated experience with business intelligence, analytics, data management, or performance reporting in a regulated, shared services, procurement, or operations environment.
- Experience leading enterprise analytics, advanced analytics, or AI‑enabled decision support in a regulated or complex operating environment.
- Demonstrated ability to govern predictive models, automated decisioning, or advanced analytics with appropriate controls and risk management.
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and influence senior and executive stakeholders.
- Knowledge of data governance, internal controls, information governance, and compliance frameworks.
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or Agile/Scrum experience preferred.
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
