The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring operational reliability, managing complex initiatives, and delivering continuous improvements across digital platforms and services.

 

Incident Management Team Expected Participation: Employees are expected to support emergency response and/or business continuity efforts, including readiness to serve on an Incident Management Team (IMT) when needed. Employees will participate in an on-call rotation (approximately every four to six weeks), to support IMT activations during emergency events. IMT assignments may differ from an individual’s regular responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provides reporting on key metrics related to major programs and initiatives.
  • Develops, produces, and tracks key metrics through automated processes and KPI dashboards.
  • Monitors the creation and storage of documentation and records for use in project monitoring, ensuring accuracy and completeness in order to track project/program costs, resources, schedules, and status for management review.
  • Delivers data analysis and business intelligence reports, including complex requests with high internal and external visibility or special requests, such as audits.
  • Coordinates research efforts on various topics to ensure timely information is gathered which can form the basis for decision making on organization priorities and needs.
  • Contributes to process improvement and refinement efforts of department and/or Operating Unit. Develops and maintains systems/tools to facilitate work processes, records management, and communications in support of Business Operations analysis.
  • Develops and reports on key performance indicators to measure efficiency and effectiveness of projects and programs.
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Five or more years of experience in business operations analysis.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in management, business, technology, engineering, data analytics, or similar field.
  • Experience supporting enterprise digital platforms, technology operations, or customer-facing business services.
  • Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, operational reporting, and executive-level presentations.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, IT service management practices, and technology governance frameworks.
  • Utility, energy, or highly regulated industry experience.
  • Strong understanding of incident management, problem management, service delivery, and operational support processes.
  • Experience managing and influencing cross-functional stakeholders, including business, technology, and vendor teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex operational issues and drive resolution through data-driven decision making.
  • Strong project coordination, prioritization, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience leading process improvement, operational readiness, and change management initiatives.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

 

Additional Information 

  • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
