In this job, you’ll be a frontline supervisor to a highly niche workforce of Field Service Representatives and Supervising Field Service Representatives within the Metering Operations (MO) group of T&D’s Distribution Operations. The Senior Supervisor will be held accountable for safety and deliver tangible results related to the customer billing work orders pertaining to meter reading, credit, and revenue protection; and will supervise between fourteen to seventeen IBEW represented employees. In addition, the Senior Supervisor is responsible to ensure the safety and development of their employees, while providing direction and monitoring of resources to improve productivity, cost efficiency, and the scheduling and completion of multiple projects; while meeting customer/compliance dates. Responsibilities
- Manages the implementation of energy program requirements and delivers tangible reliability and cost saving results for the company, managing and tracking budget utilization to ensure efficient and effective use of resources and budgets
- Establishes and manages the construction work plan with construction forces in order to meet the customers' schedule and design requirements as well as financial and budgetary requirements
- Manages the development, maintenance, and documentation of model input data and assumptions to ensure consistent use of data
- Oversees and manages all distribution system clearance reviews, analysis, and switching plan development, leading and managing a team through the implementation of specialized technical energy delivery projects
- Manages the usage and maintenance of company models to construct risk-assessed and reliable plans that account for forward-looking market, regulatory and policy trends while also supporting environmental emission reductions
- Collaborates with regulators to support the development of policies and guidelines that enable broader strategies and objectives
- Manages bid or evaluation processes including the preparation of bid documents, completion of technical evaluations for proposals and the review and approval of recommendations for selection
- Identifies opportunities for improved analyses of electric system operations data while prioritizing, developing and implementing improvements, including automated tools for monitoring and reporting operations data
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Four or more years combined experience performing or supervising maintenance scheduling, trouble operations/service restoration, metering operations and operations planning work.
- Posses a valid Class C Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership in a field environment.
- Experience as a Supervising Field services Representative.
- Experience with field computer applications including ClickSoft and other related work management systems.
- Experience with labor relations, diversity issues, and application of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
- Evaluated employee performance, their managed development, provide coaching/feedback, and hire of field personnel.
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is on-site. The employee will report to an SCE facility or in the field location. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
