Become a Business Operations Analyst, Associate Specialist at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll work with the meter shop supervisor and perform support duties within meter shop and meter engineering group, and track shop inventory needs, update and create appropriate systems and metering data reports from the field and the shop for supervision to effectively manage meter shop production test activities.

Responsibilities
- Undertakes timely and accurate data collection, processing, extraction and preparation. Assists with querying of databases and the preparation of data for reporting purposes.
- Supports data analyses in multiple platforms utilizing a variety of analytical techniques.
- Develops basic dashboards and may utilize data visualization tools to codify content.
- Supports the delivery of analytical results and actionable recommendations to partners and stakeholders.
- Aids the arrangement of meetings with business operations analysis team members to share best practices and updated material.
- Researches various topics to ensure timely information is gathered which can form the basis for decision making on department priorities and needs.
- Assists affiliates and relevant stakeholders in ad hoc issues on a monthly and special project basis.
- Aids in preparing presentation materials based on input from multiple stakeholders and data sources to help achieve department objectives.
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in business operations analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED or Associates Degree or higher.
- Experience in Administrative Support or related field.
- Experience with SharePoint as well as SAP, Power BI, and Ariba.
- Experience navigating, analyzing, validating data in SAP.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to exercise initiative, discretion, and good judgment in handling assignments.
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with others with diplomacy, tact, and professionalism.
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is on-site. The employee will report to an SCE facility or in the field location. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
